Danske Bank London Branch was established back in 1983 primarily to support Nordic corporates in the UK.
Since then, our operations in London have expanded significantly and we are now able to offer a broad range of products and services to both our corporate and institutional client base.
Danske Bank is a bank with proud traditions that in 1996 celebrated its 125th anniversary. Danske Bank, as we know it today, was created by the merger in 1990 of the two largest commercial banks in Denmark, Den Danske Bank and Kjøbenhavns Handelsbank, together with Provinsbanken, who joined the merger. Today, Danske Bank is the largest bank in Denmark and a leading player in the North European financial markets with an extensive branch network in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, The Baltics, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Furthermore we serve customers in Poland and Germany through our branches in Warsaw and Hamburg.
Together with our 86 branches and Finance Centres in Northern Ireland, acquired in 2005, we are today the largest Nordic bank in the UK. We pride ourselves on our financial strength which is reflected in our credit ratings. Furthermore, our highly qualified personnel are dedicated to offer you the best service and tailor-made solutions. We believe in strong working relationships with our customers, nurtured in an atmosphere of trust and mutual benefit that is maintained through regular meetings and close contact.
