Danske Bank in Lurgan is holding a free mortgage information evening in the branch on Tuesday 5 September from 6pm to 7.30pm.
The free event is aimed at anyone thinking of buying their first home, moving house, building or just shopping around for a new mortgage deal.
Guests will have the opportunity to speak to Danske’s mortgage experts for advice and information, without the need to make an appointment.
Branch Manager Stephen Taylor said: “We want to take away some of the worries and costs typically associated with buying a new home and that is what this evening is all about. It will be an informal evening. My team, including team leader Gayle Lavery, will provide a warm welcome and be on hand to provide information on mortgages, quotes on repayments and to give customers an idea of how much they can borrow.”
The latest report from UK Finance, published this week, revealed that house purchase lending in Northern Ireland reached its highest second quarter level since 2007. Home buyers borrowed £420 million in the second quarter of this year, up 24% compared to the same quarter last year. First time buyers continue to drive that growth.
